After an ironically long wait considering the song's title, the video for Supersci's Wristwatch is now finally here.
The song was previously released on the album Timelines (September 2010), that was very well received by the critics and gave the Sundsvall-based group a nomination for best hiphop/soul in the P3 Guld Swedish radio awards.
In Wristwatch the clock keeps ticking throughout a stressful nightmarish day with Remedeeh, Arka and Mr Noun. From early in the morning until late at night, Supersci struggle against time in a twisted world of handmade cardboard sceneries and suggestive animations.
The song is produced by the Flyphonic duo Arka and Erik L.
The video is created and directed by Anna Berntzén and Therése Mozart, with special effects by Sebastian Hesselsjö. It was recorded in Trollhättan in May 2011.

January 14th 2012, Supersci ventured 7 deep to Vilnius, the picturesque Lithuanian capital. The hip hop event Gatvès Lyga Fest was held at club Loftas, a cool cultural arena built in an old abandonded factory from the Soviet era. The event boasted a nice combination of local graffiti artists, DJs and groups, aswell as Supersci as the headliners.
As you can tell from the photos, the crowd was big and lively. Also, Lithuanians really must be one of the most friendly and welcoming people in the world, at least that's how we felt. So big ups to Victor, Greta, Inga and the rest of the Loftas team, and of course DJ Mamania and the Gatves team, DJ Mix, Pushaz, photographer Andrei and all the rest..

2. VII (Funkystepz Remix)
3. VII (Sasac Remix)
4. Dirty City Supermind
Favorite Flava create a fantastic blend of soul, pop and funk and demonstrate an unusual approach to melodies, unconventional chord progressions and beautiful harmonies… all mixed together with painfully honest Nordic melancholies. VII follows their critically acclaimed debut album ”Different Phase” (released in 2009 on Ubeat Records) and is reminiscent of 1980's synthesized funk and futuristic studio experiments with a playfulness that could be likened to Hendrix or Prince's uncompromising studio work. Favorite Flava isn't just about the studio though, they’re also a high-energy live act with a hunger to play their music all over the world. (2011-06-28)

Apart from on Supersci/Flyphonic's productions, you might have heard Erik L's (Erik Lidén) melodic music played by tastemaking radio DJ's like Gilles Peterson and Benji B, both from BBC Radio. Erik L has worked with artists such as Frank n Dank, Kissey Asplund, Dynamite MC and Hezekiah to name a few, creating a buzz in the underground scene and on sites like 2dopeboyz and Okayplayer etc. His song Soul Symphony was ranked as one of the best beats of 2009 by Benji B of BBC Radio, who has been playing Erik's stuff frequently in his shows.
On Display is mixed by DJ Devastate, a talented Swedish DJ that released his debut album on the legendary English label BBE Records. This mix features a selection of hip hop and soul productions made by Erik L in the past few years along with some new and previously unreleased material. Lately he has been focusing on getting a new album ready with his group Favorite Flava that also consists of Stray (Mattias Axelsson) and Paul Mac Innes. Hey peoples, just noticed that I missed to post this one before... A few weeks ago I laid a verse for a collab track with my mans Professor P & DJ Akilles. The song is called 'Where I'm From'. I guess the title pretty much sums the topic up, and the beat is real mellow with a nice piano sample and Ak cutting it up for the hook. Check it out! //Mr Noun

Today we give you the second single taken from the 'Timelines' album. 'Sow To Reap' is an uptempo song, where Arka and Mr Noun elaborates on the topic of the greed, restlessness and materialism of todays times, and the classic message that you can really only reap what you sow. Remedeeh sings a beast of a chorus. Enjoy!

To relieve the wait for the album Timelines coming in spring, Supersci give their fans a little extra christmas gift. With the free digital release What It Is EP the Sundsvall hiphop veterans round off the 00's and make a fresh start for 2010.
The EP is released on Flyphonic.com on the 23rd of December and consists of four songs. On the title track What It Is, the production team Flyphonic has crafted a raw sound from their more electronic side of things. Noun and Arka make energetic elaborations on the values of Supersci.
The minimalistic sound of Devastation makes your mind wander to times when the universe only consisted of two turntables and a mic. DJ Devastate from Helsingborg in southern Sweden, known for his release on legendary label BBE, lays the scratches for the chorus.
On the EP there's also a retake of the tragicomical mixtape track Shouldn't Have from earlier this year. Here, Remedeeh joins the autocritique of the band's somtimes somewhat self-destructive lifestyle. Erik L of Flyphonic mixes playful breaks with synthesizer-based 80's-futurism.
The fourth and last song Forests and Factories is a melancholy jazz excursion of the kind that has become Supersci's hallmark. Noun and Arka reflect on life's sometimes slow-moving pace and the low mood they feel in the snow slush, grey streets and dark forests. Arka's mellow production and Erik L's lingering electric piano finally lead up to a flipped-out spacetrip composed by Bessem Bedziri. A video directed by Måns Berthas, who also made the classic video for Get!, is also in the editing booth.

/Baby Rem (2009-10-08)
